Time is running. From the initial 5 ½ weeks 3 ½ weeks are over. In the meantime I get some workday routine. I get up at 7:30 am, go out and study until 12 pm in the National Library of Brasilia. The workday ends with an amazing lunch. Anyhow I have special moments among other things one journey to Rio de Janeiro.
Today is thursday and my second week in Brasil is over. The last week was eventful. Christiane and I visited the National Theatre of Brasilia and listened to one of the composition of Beethoven and Mendelssohn. Furthermore we travelled to the wonderful island Florianopolis where I met Christiane´s family for the first time.
Da ich mich jetzt entschlossen habe, auch die zweite Woche in New York zu bleiben und nicht nach Boston fahre, habe ich nun etwas mehr Zeit. Diese habe ich genutzt, um ein paar Videos von Vancouver Island zusammen zu schneiden.
Ich befinde mich gerade im nordwestlichsten Städtchen auf Vancouver Island: Port Hardy. Der Weg von Tofino nach Port Hardy war ein sehr langer Weg, aber er hat sich gelohnt. Ein Highlight ist definitiv der Cape Scott Prov. Park.
Was soll ich sagen. Ich dachte, es könnte nicht besser werden! Aber ich habe mich getäuscht, es ist einfach nur großartig. Gestern habe ich ca. 30 Wale auf einen Haufen gesehen. Ein Erlebnis, das man nicht beschreiben kann; man muss es erleben!
